1 Cup (2 sticks) of butter

1/2 Cup (or 3 oz) of confectioners sugar
- push through a wire strainer or sift if there are lumps

2 Cups (8.5 oz) of flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the butter with a hand or stand mixer.

Gradually add the sugar.

Gradually add the flour.

Roll to 1 inch thick and cut into 1.5 inch squares.

Arrange on a parchment lined cookie sheet and prick the cookies with fork making 3 or 4 rows.

Bake at 350 degrees Farenheight for 18 - 20 minutes until golden.

Remove the parchment with the cookies to a cooling rack.
