1 stick butter or margarine
2 1/2 cups graham crackers, crushed
2 8-ounce packages cream cheese, softened
2 cups sugar
4 large bananas
1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
1 large container cool whip
chopped walnuts, optional
maraschino cherries, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and mix with crushed graham crackers. Press into a 9 x 13 pan.
Bake a 350 degrees for 5 minutes.
Cream together the softened cream cheese and sugar. Spread on graham crackers right out of oven.
Layer rest of ingredients on cream cheese and graham crackers:
4 large bananas, sliced, enough to cover.
1 large can crushed pineapple, drained. get as much liquid out as you can.
1 large tub cool whip, spread over top. Will keep bananas from turning brown.
Top with chopped walnuts and marachino cherries, optional.
Chilk 4 hours.
