French Toast Casserole Recipe

1 loaf bread cut in cubes
8 eggs
3 c. milk
4 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
¾ tsp. salt

Topping:
2 T butter, cubed or melted
3 T. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Put cubes in greased 13x9 pan. Combine eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Pour over bread.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking
Dot with butter. Mix sugar and cinnamon then sprinkle over top.
Cover and bake at 350º for 45-50 minutes.
Lightly sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired and serve with syrup.
