1 Pound Fresh Broccoli - cut into 1/2 in. pieces
8 ox. or more Fresh Mushrooms
8 oz. Butter
1 cup sifted Flour
1 Quart Chicken Broth (large can of Chicken Broth)
1 quart Half & Half Cream
1 Tsp. Salt 1/4 Tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Steam fresh Broccoli in 1/2 Cup Water until tender. - Set aside.

Wash and slice 8 oz. or more of fresh mushrooms.

Heat 8 oz.Butter in sauce pan over medium heat. Add 1 cup of sifted Flour and stir to make a Roux. Cook 2 to 4 min.

Add 1 quart Chicken Broth and bring to a boil. Turn the heat to low. Add Broccoli, Mushrooms, 1 quart Half and Half, 1 tsp. Salt and 1/4 Tsp. Pepper. Heat but do not boil.

Can cut the recipe in half to make a smaller portion for 5 servings.
