Port Butt or Shoulder roast
sauce:
1 cup vinegar
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
salt and pepper to taste
red cayenne pepper to taste.

Directions:
Cook pork in oven until done. Let cool and remove bones and excess fat. Chop meat in small bite size pieces. place in oven proof pan.
Mix sauce in a jar. mix all ingredients for sauce add small amount of red pepper. little goes a long way. You can always add more if someone wants it hotter. Pour sauce over meat and mix until all meat is covered. Bake in 350º oven until vinegar mixture is absorbed in meat. Approximately 1 1/2 hours. I make mine a little sweeter and serve hot sauce on the table.

This recipe comes from my Father's family in North Carolina. Sauce can be used for Beef or chicken as well.
