Ingredients:  
cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
3 ripe mashed bananas
cup sour milk (add a touch of vinegar to milk)
1 tsp. baking soda
2 cups flour
tsp. salt
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening and sugar. Add eggs and bananas. To sour milk, add baking soda. Add to mixture. Add flour and salt to mixture and mix well. Add in walnuts.

Bake at 375 in two greased loaf pans, for about 45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
