1 CUP SUGAR

1/8 TSP SALT

1 EGG

1/2 TSP LEMON EXTRACT

1/2 TSP ALMOND EXTRACT

2 CUPS FLOUR

1 TSP BAKING POWDER

ALMOND HALVES

Directions:
Directions:
CREAM BUTTER, SUGAR AND SALT.

ADD EGG AND MIX.

BLEND IN FLAVORINGS.

SIFT FLOUR AND BAKING POWDER TOGETHER AND STIR INTO CREAMED MIXTURE.

TAKE A PIECE OF DOUGH THE SIZE OF ALMOND AND ROLL INTO A BALL. DIP IN SUGAR AND FLATTEN ON GREASED COOKIE SHEET. PLACE ALMOND IN CENTER.

BAKE AT 375 FOR 8 - 10 MINUTES
