1 cup butter

1 cup sugar

1/8 tsp salt

1 egg

1/2 tsp lemon extract

1/2 tsp almond extract

2 cups flour

1 tsp baking powder

almond halves
Directions:
Directions:
cream butter, sugar and salt.

add egg and mix.

blend in flavorings.

sift flour and baking powder together and stir into creamed mixture.

take a piece of dough the size of almond and roll into a ball. dip in sugar and flatten on greased cookie sheet. place almond in center.

bake at 375º for 8 - 10 minutes
