2 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
4 c. flour
5 c. regular oatmeal (not quick oats)
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
24 oz chocolate chips
1-8oz Hershey bar, grated fine
3 c. chopped nuts (mom always used pecans)

Directions:

Cream butter & sugars. Add vanilla & eggs. Mix well. Set aside. Mix flour, oatmal, salt, soda & baking powder in separate bowl. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture. Add chocolate chips, Hershey's and nuts. Roll into 1" balls on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375ºF for 10-12 minutes
