4 cups cubed bread ( french bread, cinnamon bread, etc..)
cup raisins if you like
2 cups milk
cup butter
cup sugar
2 eggs beaten
tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla


Vanilla Sauce:

cup sugar
cup brown sugar
whipping cream
cup butter
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350. For pudding in large bowl combine cubed bread and raisins. In a saucepan over medium heat combine milk and butter, cook until butter melted. Pour milk mixture over bread and let stand for 10 minutes. Stir in remaining pudding ingredients. Pour into greased casserole dish. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until set in the center.

Vanilla Sauce:
In a saucepan, combine both sugars, whipping cream and butter. Cook over medium heat stirring frequently until mixture thickens and comes to a full boil about 5-8 minutes. Stir in vanilla. Serve over warm pudding. Store refrigerated.
