1 c. cream
½ tsp. salt

1 lb chopped dates

1 c. chopped pecans
½ c. shredded coconut
½ tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, cream, and salt until it reaches soft ball stage. Add dates. Cook until mixture separates from the pan when stirred.
Add pecans, coconut, and vanilla.
Beat until cool. Pour onto wet cheese cloth and form a roll. Cut into slices
