Personal Notes:
I've always called this "Chris Price's Salad." Chris and I met shortly after we moved to Michigan. Very soon after we became friends, she moved to the Chicago suburbs with her family. She and her husband were some of the first "foodies" I had ever met. Every time I make this salad, I wonder what they're cooking today.
