1 lb. sausage, browned and drained
Pepperidge Farm herb seasoned stuffing (large bag)
apple, finely chopped
1 onion
5 T butter
2 stalks celery, diced, 1 c
2 c chicken broth
1 egg
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Heat butter in 3 qt saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, apple and celery. Cook until vegetables and apple are tender. Add broth and heat to a boil. Remove saucepan from heat. Add stuffing mix, drained sausage, whipped egg and stir together. Put mixture in greased casserole dish. (2 dishes if they are small). Bake at 350º with lid on for first 30 minutes. lid off for 20 minutes more, or until brown on top.
