Ingredients:  
3 egg whites
3 tsp cold water
few grains of slt
6 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites, salt, cream of tartar and water in a bowl at high speed for 2 minutes. Turn mixer to low speed, add sugar gradually, one tsp at a time. Add flavoring. Continue beating at low speed until mixture will stand in peaks ( 2-3 minutes). Spread roughly over filling in pie shells.

Bake in oven at 425 for 4 12 minutes.
