2 sticks butter at room temp
3 c flour
6 eggs separated
3 c sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 c sour cream
3 T almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
SPRAY PAN OR PANS WITH PAM THEN A LAYER OF PARCHMENT PAPER AND SPRAY AGAIN.
IN MIXER BEAT BUTTER AND SUGAR FOR ABOUT 7 MINUTES. BEAT IN EGG YOLKS. SIFT TOGETHER FLOUR, SALT, BAKING SODA AND BEAT INTO BATTER ALTERNATING WITH SOUR CREAM. BEAT IN ALMOND EXTRACT. BEAT EGG WHITES UNTIL STIFF AND FOLD INTO BATTER MIXTURE. BAKE AT 300* FOR 1 3/4 -2 HOURS. COOL ON RACK.
