Sugar Cookies Recipe

1 cup sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
2 sticks butter
2 eggs - beaten
1 cup oil
1 t. salt
1 t. cream of tarter
1 t. baking soda
4½ cups flour
1 T. vanilla
1 t. lemon or almond extract (optional)
Directions:
Directions:
Cream both sugars with butter and eggs and add oil. Combine dry ingredients. Add to sugar mixture. Gradually add flavorings. Form into balls and roll in sugar. Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350º for 12 minutes.
