8- to 10- cups popped popcorn
1- cup sugar
2 T. butter
2-T. water
1- tsp vanilla
food coloring (enough to make desired color)

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, bring sugar, butter and water to a boil. Remove from heat and add vanilla and food coloring. Pour over popped corn while stirring corn to coat evenly. Let popcorn dry and enjoy!

We used to be able to buy pink popcorn in every store but I've not seen it in stores for years. When Steve was six months old, we moved to California for a year, during that time Rex got a job at Granny Goose Potato Chip Factory. Where they made Mother Goose Popcorn, I think of that time whenever I see pink popcorn.
