½ lg potatoes or 1 small
1 lb confectioners sugar
6 oz coconut
1 ½ tsp butter
½ tsp vanilla
Sliced maraschino cherries
Chopped nuts

Covering for eggs:
1 package semi sweet choc bits
1 tbsp shortening
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 cup sifted confectioners sugar

Directions:

Mix ingredients. Knead like a bread. Fold in coconut, cherries, and nuts. Shape and place on buttered plate to set. Cover with chocolate. (in case potato is watery or too large, have extra powdered sugar on hand)

Covering for eggs: Melt chocolate, shortening over hot but NOT boiling water. Remove from heat and mix in evaporated milk and sugar. Beat until smooth. Place in deep cup or bowl. Keep over warm water, stirring occasionally. Dip eggs.
