1 package ground beef
½ cup breadcrumbs (or oatmeal)
Finely chopped onion to taste (Oma used a rasper)
Butter
Salt
Pepper
Secret spice (Rundvlees Kruiden, or gehaktballen spice packets from Dutch store)

Directions:
Directions:
Add ground beef, onion, salt & pepper and secret spice and mix ingredients together and form into 2 – 3 “ diameter balls. Roll in bread crumbs and secret spice and salt & pepper. Brown Oma balls in ¼ cup hot butter. Cover meatballs half in water and cover and simmer for ½ hour. Thicken gravy with cornstarch + beef gravy mix (OXO).
