4 eggs separated
1 cup sugar
¾ cup cold water
1 ¾ cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla

Icing:
1 lb confectioners sugar
1 lb margarine
1 tsp vanilla

chopped peanuts

Directions:
Directions:
Sift baking powder with ½ cup flour. Beat egg yolks until light and fluffy. Add sugar gradually. Add vanilla, water, 1 cup flour and baking powder mixture. Fold in stiffly beaten egg white. Pour in pan and bake at 350 or 375 for 30-45 min. Bake in dripping pan and cut into squares.

Icing:
1 lb confectioners sugar, 1 lb margarine, and 1 tsp vanilla
Beat until smooth. Ice cake. Top with chopped walnuts or peanuts.
