Meat Balls
1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
1/2 C. soft bread crumbs
1/2 C. sour cream
1 egg , slightly beaten
2 tbsp grated onion
1/8 tsp ground allspice
1/4 tsp pepper
1 1/4 tsp salt
Clarified butter for frying
2 beef bouillon cubes
2 C,hot water
Sauce
1/2 C sour cream
2 tpsp flour
Dash allspice
1/2 tsp onion salt

For the meat balls:
Thoroughly combine beef, pork ,bread crumbs, sour cream, egg, onion ,allspice ,pepper ,salt . Shape tablespoons of mixture into balls. Brown well in butter over low heat. Dissolve bouillon cubes in hot water ;pour over meat balls ; cover: simmerabout one hour.
Remove meat balls; set aside to keep warm
For the sauce, combine sour cream , flour, allspice, and onion saltuntil smooth. Stir briskly into hot liquid cooking over moderate heat. Stir constantly until thicken.Add meat balls heat gently, Yeilds 35 meat balls.

Note
To make clarified butter: cut butter into place; in sauce pan over moderate heat to melt. Skim off cessor other saufoam and strain through several layers of cheesecloth into bowl.Use the milky residue in soup .
