1/2 stick oleo
1 c. chopped onion
1 t. salt
2 c. chopped celery
1/8/ t. pepper
3/4 c. hot water
1 can bean sprouts, drained
2 c. leftover beef or pork
1/3 c. cold water
2 t. cornstarch
1 t. soy sauce
1 t. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Melt oleo in skillet. Add onion and fry for 3 minutes. Add salt, celery, pepper and hot water. Cover and cook 5 minutes. Add bean sprouts and meat. Mix and heat to boiling. Mix cold water, corn starch, soy sauce and sugar and add to the hot skillet.. Stir lightly and cook 5 minutes.

Serve over rice (chop suey) or chow mein noodles.
