1 pkg. yellow cake mix
4 c. rhubarb cut up
1½ c. sugar
1 pt. heavy whipping cream

preheat oven to 350º

Make cake as directed. Mix separately rhubarb and sugar. Pour the batter into a cake pan, then put the sugar/ rhubarb mixture on top of the batter. Pour the cream over everything and bake for 1 hour.

Becky's words: Bonnie gave me a recipe book for some life event I don't remember which one and this was in the recipe book. It has become a staple in our house and we all look forward to fresh rhubarb just for this cake!
