1 C room temperature butter
2 C all-purpose flour
⅓ C sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. water
1 C chopped pecans
1 C sifted powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter on medium to high speed for 30 seconds.
Add about ½ of the flour, the sgar, vanilla and 1 T of water.
Beat until thoroughly combined.
Beat in remaining flower and additional water as needed. Stir in pecans.

Shape into 1 inch balls or 2½ inch fingers or crescents.
Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake in a 325º oven about 20 minutes or until bottoms araea lightly browned
Cool cookies on a wire rack.
Gently shake cooked cookies in a bag with powdered sugar.
