5 oranges
12 whole cloves
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 sticks (2 inches each) cinnamon
1 piece ginger root
3 quarts fresh or reconstituted frozen orange juice
1 clear quart apple juice or cider

Directions:
Directions:
Stud oranges evenly with whole cloves allowing about 15 to 20 cloves per orange. Place oranges in large baking dish. Bake at 325º for 3 hours.

Combine sugar, water, cinnamon 12 cloves and ginger root. Simmer 10 minutes. Remove spices. Add juices and heat. Pour into heat proof punch bowl. Float baked oranges on punch
