8 oz Almond paste
½ cup finely ground almond meal
1½ cup Almond slices
½ cup sugar
1 Egg white
1½ teaspoon Almond Extract
2 Tablespoons powdered sugar

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Combine almond paste, almond meal, almond extract, and sugar in mixing bowl. Use a hand mixer to beat. Mixture will be clumpy

Step 2
Add egg white and mix until well combined.

Step 3
Spread almond slices in a shallow bowl or plate. Roll 1.5 tbsp sized dough into a ball. Roll out ball into a log shape onto almond slices

Step 4
Form logs into a U on parchment paper for 15 minutes until cooked golden brown

Step 5
Let cool 25 minutes, dust with confectioners sugar. Enjoy!!
