1 (16 ounce) package rotini or other pasta
2 (15 ounce) jars Alfredo sauce
1 pound Velveeta OR white American cheese (cubed)
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
¾ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
1. Prepare pasta per package directions, drain.
2. Pour Alfredo sauce in a large pot. Add cubed Velveeta and heat over low heat until melted.
3. Add pasta, salt, and pepper to sauce mixture.
4. Pour into a casserole dish.
5. Top with cheddar cheese and bake until cheese is melted and bubbly.

I've tried many mac & cheese recipes over the years, and this very simple version is definitely the winner. My attempts at sophisticated recipes with fancy cheeses always fell short and gave you all lots of laughs. It's ok, I agreed!
