1 gallon port wine
1 fifth brandy
1 pint rum
2 c. sugar

1 c. raisins
15 cardamon seeds (split)
4 cloves
3 cinnamon sticks
¼ c. slivered almonds
2 dry orange peels
cheesecloth

In a big kettle heat the wine, brandy, rum and sugar
Place fruit and spices into a cheese cloth and simmer for 20 minutes in 2c. of water
Add the cheesecloth and the water to the alcohol mix. Best to let sit for a few days with the cheese cloth in the mixture

Serve warm
