1 c/2 sticks Butter or 1/2 Oleo & 1/2 Butter
2 c Brown Sugar
2 Eggs Beaten light
1 tsp Vanilla
3 1/2 c Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda or 1/2 tbsp
1/2 tbsp Cream of Tartar

Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, eggs & vanilla. Then combine dry ingredients and slowly add them to the creamed ingredients. Shape in to long bar loaf, wrap in wax paper, cool in refrigerator over night. Cut in thin slices place on cookie sheet & bake. 425 º for 8 min. Nuts optional
