3/4 c Shortening 1 1/4 sticks
1 c Sugar
1/4 c Molasses
1 Egg
2 c All Purpose Flour
2 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Ginger
1 tsp Cinnamon
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening & Sugar. Add egg & molasses. Sift flour, soda & spices together. Stir in creamed mixture. Chill! Form balls about the size of a walnut, roll in granulated sugar. Place 2" apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 º about 10 min. Yields about 35 cookies.
