3 c. flour
1 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
½ c. sour cream
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. nutmeg

1. Beat butter and sugar together, add eggs and vanilla mix thoroughly.
2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg. Add dry ingredients to sugar/butter mixture, alternating with sour cream, mixing well after each addition.
3. Chill dough for 1 hour, makes cookies fluffier.
4. Preheat oven to 375º
5. Spray cookie sheet or line with parchment paper.6. Roll dough cut and bake 7 to 10 minutes.

I found this recipe on 12Tomatoes site and it is wonderful for decorating Christmas cookie and they stay soft.
