3 med. baking potatoes cut into chunks
1 lg.sweet potato cut into chunks
1/2 stick marg.
milk enough to make potatoes creamy
1 lb. gr beef
garlic to taste
salt to taste
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
3/4 c. water
1 can peas and carrots or green beans or corn drained
3/4 c. shredded cheese your choice
1/2 c. French fried onions (can)

In lg. pot boil potatoes.Drain Water.
Mash with marg. and milk. Set aside.
In lg. skillet cook beef and drain.
Add garlic and pepper to taste.
Add onion soup to water and pour over beef.
Continue cooking 5 min. til broth thickens.
Add peas and carrots or beans or corn.
Put beef mixture in casserole dish.
Sprinkle with 1/4 c. cheese.
Layer mashed potatoes over beef.
Add remaining cheese and French fried onions.
Bake 350 degrees 15 to 20 min. or til hot through
