4 apples
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup golden raisins
1 - 10 x 20 inch or 2 - 10 x 10 inch sheets of frozen puff pastry, thawed
1 egg
¼ cup milk
⅓ cup slivered almonds

Directions:
Directions:
1. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper
2. Core and chop 1 apple finely. Core and slice the other 3 apples. Place apples in a large bowl. Stir in brown sugar and raisins.
3. Place puff pastry on baking sheet. Roll lighyly with a rolling pin. Arrange apple filling down the middle of the pastry lengthwise. Fold the pastrylengthwise around the mixture. Seal the edges by rubbing a bit of water on them with your fingers and pressing together.
4. Whisk egg and milk together and brush onto top of pastry. Sprinkle almonds on top. Slash the top 3 or 4 times.
5. Bake in a 400ºF oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until golden brown.
