1 lb ground beef
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
1 14.2 ox can diced tomatoes with garlic and onions
3 cup beef broth
1 cup cooked rice
1 yellow onion, finely chopped
1 green pepper chopped
1 red pepper chopped
½ tsp dried oregano
½ tsp dried basil
1 bay leaf
kosher salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef over medium-high heat. Set aside 2 Tbsp of fat. Saute onions in fat. Place beef and onions in a slow cooker. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, rice and peppers. Add oregano, basil, bay leaf and salt and pepper. Cook on high 3 hours or low 6-8 hours.
