Monster Cookies Recipe

2 c. Sugar
2½ c. Brown Sugar
2 sticks Butter (1 c.)
6 Eggs
4 teas. Baking Soda
2¼ c. Peanut Butter,
1 teas. Vanilla
- Salt
9 c. Old Fashion Cooking Oats
M&M’s (your choice, plain or with peanuts)
½ lb. Milk Chocolate Chips
1 tbsp. Light Corn Syrup (Karo)

Directions:

Cream sugars and butter together.
Add eggs and remaining ingredients.
Form into balls and place on un greased cookie sheet
Bake at 350º for approx. 10-15 minutes. (See add’l note)

Personal Notes:
I recommend Jiff or Skippy peanut butter. Sometimes a cheaper brand or a natural peanut butter will cause cookies to run. Old fashion oats is best for this recipe for the same reason, quick cooking oats will cause cookies to run.

If you want soft chewy cookies...under cook them (about 10 minutes.)
If you want crispy cookies...cook until golden brown (about 14 minutes, or until golden brown.)

Other ingredients may be added, such as dried berries.
