1 pound 99% lean ground turkey
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves minced garlic
1/2 cup red onion, diced small
1/2 red bell peppers, diced small
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1, 15 ounce can of black beans, drained and rinsed
1 can mild green chilis, 4 ounces
1/2 cup salsa verde
2 tablespoons freshly chopped cilantro

Additional ingredients. These are optional
Chopped lettuce, tomatoes. Avocados, sour cream and baked tortilla chips

In a large skillet over medium heat place oil and let it become hot. Stir in Turkey meat and cook until no longer pink. Add in all ingredients and set heat to low. Simmer about 30 minutes stirring occasionally. Serve with optional shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes on top. Baked tortilla chips and some sour cream. Even sliced avocados and it's still heart healthy.
