4 salmon steaks
½ c. dry vermouth
½ c. salad oil
2 T. fresh lemon juice
¾ tsp. salt
⅛ tsp. freshly ground pepper
½ tsp. thyme
½ tsp. marjoram
¼ tsp. sage
1 T. minced garlic

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Place the salmon steaks in a baking dish and pour marinade over top, then turning the fish making sure coated in both sides. Marinate for 3 hrs, turning every hour. Place the steaks on a greased broiler rack. Broil 7-8 mins on each side (total broiling time - 16 minutes), basting frequently with marinade, until salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Even when Mom was really sick during those last two years or so of her life, she loved going through recipes and cooking/ baking. This was a recipe she made sometime during that last year. It was delicious! We never got a chance to make it again.
