1/4 c. Butter
2/3 c. Brown Sugar
1 can of sliced Pineapple (drained)
Maraschino Cherries (if desired)
1 1/3 c. Flour
1 c. Sugar
1/2 t. Salt
1 1/2 t. Baking Powder
1/3 c. Shortening
3/4 c. Milk
1 Egg

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. In a 9x9 baking dish melt butter then add brown sugar and pineapple. In another bowl mix dry ingredients and add milk, egg, and shortening. Mix until smooth. Pour over the top of the pineapple mixture. Bake 45 minutes.
