6 extra large eggs
1 ½ cup half and half
1 teaspoon orange zest
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon very good honey
½ teaspoon salt
1 large loaf of Challah or Brioche bread
Unsalted butter
Real maple syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 250º F. Whisk eggs, half & half, orange zest, vanilla, honey, and salt together. Can also blend in blender. Slice Challah ¾ inches thick and soak in egg mixture 3 to 5 minutes, turning once. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in skillet, cook 1 to 2 slices at a time, 2 – 3 minutes on each side. Keep warm in oven. Serve with melted butter and maple syrup.
