1pound bag of hashbrowns, thawed if frozen

½ cup butter, melted

9X13 dish

1 teaspoon of salt

1 pinch of pepper

¼ cup chopped onion

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 pint of sour cream

TOPING

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

2 cups crushed corn flakes

¼ cup melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

Place hashbrowns in dish, spread evenly

Mix together ¼ cup of melted butter, salt, pepper, onion, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream and cheddar cheese. Pour mixture on top of hashbrowns in the dish

TOPPING

Mix together corn flakes and ¼ cup of melted butter. Spread over hashbrown mixture.

Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour
