1 cup sugar
1 cup grated carrots
1 cup grated potato
2 cups raisins
1 Tbsp baking soda
½ teas salt
3 Tbsp margarine
1 ½ cup flour
spice to taste

1 cup grated apples (optional)
1 cup nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix and cook in double boiler or bottles ½ full or less for 1½ hours. Can be cooked in loaf pans in slow oven at 250º - 275º.
