1 1\2 cups Crisco
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 cup milk
6 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1\4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix everything together. Divide dough in half. Take one half and spread on cookie sheet. I found it is easier to take a rolling pin to spread dough or use your hands. Next put your fruit on. You can make 1\2 one kind and something different on the other half. Fruit depends on your taste.

Take the other half and roll out. Cut into strips and put strips on to criss cross on top.


Bake 350
10- 20 minutes

When done i sprinkle with sugar.
