1 cup bulgur wheat
3-4 tsp olive oil
juice of 1-2 lemons
2 Tblsp tomato puree
2 tsp sugar
1 large red onion, cut half way and then in thin slices
2 tsp red chilies seeded and finely chopped
1 bunch of mint finely chopped
1 bunch of parsley finely chopped
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Put the bulgur wheat in a wide bowl. Pour enough boiling water to cover it by 1 inch. Cover and steam for 25 minutes until water is soaked up.

Pour olive oil and lemon juice over the wheat. Toss to mix.

Add tomato puree and mix.

Add sugar, onion, chilies and chopped herbs season with salt and pepper.

Garnish with a few mint and parsley leaves.
