2 lg onions sliced 1/2 in thick
2 c butter milk
1T hot sauce
2 1/4 c flour
1 t salt
1 t old bay
1 t onion powder
1 t garlic powder 1/2 t paprika
1/2 t cumin
1 12 oz beer
6 c oil for frying

Directions:
Directions:
mix butter milk and hot sauce and pour over onions and marinate 1 hour
heat oil
mix flour and seasoning
seperate 1 1/4 cup for dredging
mix remaining flour mixture with beed stirring til dissolved making a batter
shake off excess milk mixture
dredge in dry mixture
dip in batter letting excess drip off.
slowly lower into hot oil, dont crowd
cook about 2 mins
cool on paper towel covered cookie sheet
