½ package chopped carrots
½ head of cabbage chopped
½ stalk celery chopped
2 large onions chopped
2 tablespoons shortening
1 pound hamburger
½ cup soy sauce
2 cups rice

Directions:
Directions:
Cook in skillet carrots, cabbage, celery, and onions in 2 tablespoons of shortening. Cook slowly stirring often until wilted and tender. Add hamburger and soy sauce. Turn heat low and simmer while cooking rice per directions. When done,mix rice and meat/vegetables together.
