1 c. Crisco
1 ½ c. sugar
2 eggs
2 ¾ flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt

2 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Combine 2 Tbsp sugar and the cinnamon together and set aside. Mix shortening, 1 ½ c. sugar and eggs thoroughly. In a separate bowl, mix flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt together until well mixed. Stir flour mixture into the sugar mixture until a soft dough forms. Form dough into small balls. Roll balls in the cinnamon sugar mixture.Bake on a cookie sheet for 8 minutes. Let cool and enjoy.
Store in a tightly covered container.
