1 c butter or oleo
1/3 c sugar
2 tsp water
2 tsp vanilla
2 c flour
1 c chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, add water and vanilla; mix well. Add flour and pecans. Chill 3-4 hrs. Shape into balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in slow oven - 325º about 20 minutes. Cool slightly, roll in powdered sugar. Makes about 5 dozen.

This was always a cookie I made at Christmas and was a favorite of everyone.
