1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 t vanilla
1 cup buttermilk
2 cups flour
1 t soda
1 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
1/4 cup sugar
1 t cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs with vanilla and beat well. Add alternately the buttermilk and flour with soda, baking powder and salt. Pour 1/2 of batter in loaf pan. Mix 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle half on the batter in pan. Swirl mixture through the batter. Add remaining batter and sprinkle remaining cinnamon sugar and swirl rest of mixture. Bake at 350 for one hour.
