2-3 inch pickling cucumbers
dill heads
garlic cloves
onion

Brine makes approx. 5 quarts
1 quart vinegar
1 quart water
4 C sugar
1/3 C canning salt

Brine for 1 quart
1 C water
1 C vinegar
1 C sugar
1 TBSP + 1 tsp canning salt

Directions:
Directions:
In each jar - 1 garlic clove, dill head, onion, add washed pickles.

Combine brine ingredients and heat thoroughly and sugar is dissolved.

Pour brine over pickles, seal and place in hot water bath.

Process ONLY until the pickles loose green color (approx. 5 minutes)

Note: 1 lb pickles = 1 quart
