1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 + 1/2 pounds ground chuck (I use 90% lean)
1 can (1 pound 12 ounce) can whole tomatoes
1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
2 envelopes dry spagetti sauce mix
2 (12 ounce) cans V-8 juice
1 (1 pound) package lasagna noodles
1 (12 ounce) carton cottage cheese
1 8 ounce package mozzarella cheese (shredded)
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
chopped parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F.

Heat oil in large skillet. Add meat + cook, breaking up with a wooden spoon.

Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce and spagetti sauce mix and V-8 juice.

Bring to boil boiling, lower heat and simmer 10 minutes.

Cover the bottom of an oiled 13 X 9 X 2 inch baking dish with a thin layer of meat sauce, than;

Add a layer each of uncooked noodles,cottage cheese + mozzarella cheese.

Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with meat sauce.

Cover casserole tightly together with heavy duty aluminum foil. Set on a jelly roll pan.

Bake in moderate (350 F.) for 1 hour. Serves 12
